Hi Theresa! I'm not sure: the John Bohannan might be a Foreign Protestant. John Buchanan when he married was a batchelor. I think he came out in government service. There is a report he made in the Archives. Give me a month: I can't look it up now - Christmas is coming. But I suspect that John Buchanan who married Elizabeth Spike did not have descendants. Which John Buchanan are you referring to who came from Scotland with two brothers? He seems to me to be a likely candidate. What dates do you have? I'll check my files and get back to you: I do have a reference for his report: certainly he was educated and in government service.
