William Drake Spike was a Capt. in the army. He was a brother of Charles Spike. He died on service outside of N.S. and his lands were granted to his nephews, Henry Atkins and Daniel Spike. (Henry Atkins must have been considered his nephew by reason of his marriage to Daniel's sister, Elizabeth).
