Rev.(Adam?)Adolph Spindler / Spindle b ca 1761, location: unknown, d 6 Oct 1826 Augusta Co., VA. Was discovered in Augusta Co., VA in 1784 by Rev. Paul Henkle.
Rev. Spindler spoke and wrote in German and never mastered English well enough to preach
in it.
He began the first Lutheran Church in Middlebrook, Augusta Co.,VA, called St. John's and, began a Lutheran church called. "Spindler's Meeting House" in Waynesboro, Augusta Co., VA.
