As I read John Walden's chart, there were two Rachel Waldens. The first, d/o John married Benjamin Mundy/Munday. There ch were Philip T. who m Rachel A.M. Walden in Caroline Co., 14 Dec 1818; Elizabeth who m ? Spindle; Nancy who m ? Newman; and Mary (mine) who m William S. Thornhill. John gave me as Spindle ch Harriet, Emily, William, Robert H., Adeline, Amanda and Mortimer. I found a microfilm Culpeper Co., VA FHC (LDS) film no. 30,940, which mentions Spindle grantors (to misc Waldens) Emily M.A.; Wm. A.; Adaline A.; Thos. G., Robt. H. and James M. I'm not knowledgeable enough on this line to draw any conclusions, but for what it's worth, there it is.
