OK, here's what I have so far in our Spindler line:

David SPINDLER m: Elizabeth WEINHEIMER, at least one of their children is Jacob SPINDLER (b: 1847 Louisiana - d: 10/2/1912).

Jacob SPINDLER m: Anna HOFFMAN (dau. of Johannes HOFFMAN & Maria HUHN) 5/12/1873 in New Orleans. At least one of their children is Mary Elizabeth SPINDLER.

Mary Elizabeth SPINDLER m1: David Frederick HAUTAU 6/13/1905 in New Orleans and had only one child, Elizabeth "Lizzie" HAUTAU. Then after David's death in 1914, she married Henry H. Walther on 4/28/1915.

It is believed by older family members that our Spindlers are of German descent, but they have no proof or even any idea which generation may have come over first. If any of these names ring a bell, please reply or contact me at Thank you.
