Henry and Michael Spindler--Pennsylvania
Posted by: Janet Doi (ID *****2432) Date: July 14, 2003 at 21:57:59

My 2nd great grandfather, Henry Spindler, was born in Pennsylvania 23 Oct 1812. His father was Michael Spindler, according to his own family bible.
From a message given to me in 1999, I was told that Michael Spindler's father was Mathias Spindler of Lancaster county, PA. who married Anna Rosers 2 Oct 1781. And, they may trace back to Johann Lorenz Spindler who came to the U.S. about 1752.
But, also it was stated that according to some sources, Michael Spindler did not have a son named Henry.
This is confusing. Does anyone have a Michael Spindler in their line with a son named Henry in that time period?
I would appreciate anything to clarify this discrepancy.
