Thanks for the info, Debbie. Didn't realize you had responded...must have been my old e-mail address.

Do you have dates from the headstones of Spindlers in the Beallsville Cemetery? If there is a death date for Wm. R. Spindler, surely there would be an obituary for him as a Methodist clergyman. I do think he may be the son of George and it occurs to me the reason he is not listed in the book "The Bakers of Sissinghurst" by Norma McCullough, but the 7 daughters are, is that his mother was not Lydia Baker. What do you think?
