appears to be a Spindler switch to the Meth.
church, i.e., George Spindler in Carroll Co.
MD (have to look that up) donated land for
the Meth.Church before 1810. The Ohio
Spindlers seem to have been active in Meth.
Church. And Wm.R. Spindler, Wash.Co.PA was
a preacher in a Meth.church. So if we don't
find the Spindlers we're looking for in Luth.
records, maybe we should be looking at other
church records? Any suggestions?
