In Reply to: JOHN SPINDLER - MD to PA to OH/IN by jane sanders of 301

Two Spindler families settled in Wash.Co.PA
from Baltimore Co.MD before 1810: Nicholas
and Jacob Spindler, probably brothers.
Nicholas had a son, John, who moved to Ohio
by 1841. His son, Nicholas, was in Knox Co.
OH and his daughter, Millinda, married Jms.
Ewart - all connections to your John. Need
to know who the children of Jacob Spindler
were first, as Jacob probably had like-named children who also moved on to OH. By 1850
there are only two Spindlers listed in the
E.Bethlehem Twp., Wash.Co.PA, census:
George Spindler and W.R. Spindler. Much
of the family had left for Ohio and IN.
