I originally traced John Keil to Baltimore using the 1880 census.I've just recently been able to find him, Annie Keil, and the rest of the family in the 1860 and 1870 census - their last name is mis-spelled as KYLE in both of the censuses.John left Baltimore sometime before 1886 and moved to Philadelphia. His occupation in the 1880 census is listed as cigar maker, and that's what he continued to do until he died in 1897, at the age of 37.He married Minnie Schnabel and had 4 children, one named John, who is my grandfather.
I was curious as to how you found out what Mary Keil's maiden name was?I recently received her death certificate, but it does not list out her maiden name.
