Yes, John, I rec'd your message. I will be in contact via separate e-mail, and share what I have.

I am really certain that the Lewis County WV Sprigg family comes from the Maryland Sprigg family, but I have been unable to document it with certainty.

As for the Alkire connection, yes I have that for you as well.

My principal interest in the Sprigg family concerns the descendants of James D. Sprigg and Elizabeth (Bennett)'s son John D. Sprigg, who m. Mary Sponaugle in Lewis County VA abt 1856.

Like you, I would like to know if there is a documented connection to the Maryland Sprigg bunch.
