Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
It seems possible that your grandfather may have been a nephew of my ggrandmother, Cora Entice Spriggs Fitzpatrick; she had two brothers still living at her death in 1960, both of Cottage Grove, OR. One brother, Edward E., (1878-1968) married Marie Dorothea Leppert about 1907, & had three sons; Alfred Clinton, Richard, and Samuel Morris. It appears the marriage may have ended after Sam's birth, as the LDS files show a woman of the same name married to James A. Ditton about 1918 in Astoria OR. Ed's brother was listed in Grandma Fitz's obit only as "A. C. Spriggs". Let me know if any of this sounds familiar, as I have info & old photos I can share. Never heard of any royalty, but if there are revenues attached to the titles, then I'm all for it!
