Hello fellow Springs researchers.I had Genealogy Quest do a search in the Index to War of 1812 Pension Application Files(National Archives microfilm M313,roll88 showed: soldier:Moses Spring Service: Capt.James A.Black's Co.Tenn.Mil. I am planning to order the military service and pension records. In the Illinois Census of 1870 there is a Moses Springs 88 b.N.C. with him were: 1.Was 35 Tenn. 2.Mary 8 3.Nora 6 4.Thomas 2 . I believe this Moses is Moses W. Springs father of Benjamin Springs b.ca.1803 and my Gt.Gt.Grandfather. Hope to hear from the Southern Springs-Spring researchers!!!!! Sincerely, Gloria Baran
