Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The name Doty is not part of my Doughty family, but who knows if she originally was! I have the names of William Doughty siblings (he was married to Betsy Ann Springs) and Sarah E., was not one of them. I do know that William Doughty and Betsy Ann Springs were married in Wilson County Tenn. When they left Tenn., they did stop long enough in Crittenden County to bury two children, then they left for Williamson County. Sandra, we have to be connected close (if not the same) in our family lines, with the way they travelled.
