Dennis, I have to say that I have never seen any papers about Abner's and Hannah's children. Can I ask you what census or papers did you find Betsy Ann on? When I do a general search of information in Williamson co.IL. or Saline or Franklin I usually look for my surnames but I have to say I start to pick up on some fellow researchers surnames. I will look over your old postings and refresh my memory. I can also relate to you when you would like other researchers in your direct line to talk with. My Gt.Grandfather Marshall Springs had a good number of brothers and sisters and yet I have no one on this forum from this line. Lisa and I think we may share the same Gt.Gt.Gt.Grandfather Moses Spring b.1771 d.1871 , but that is not fact yet. Maybe your Betsy is also coming from Ol Moses.I will keep my eyes open for your Betsy. What church did your folks attend in Southern Illinois? My Springs attended Bethel Baptist Church . Marshall was a deacon there. And is buried there right next to the church building. Well, better go. Sincerely, Gloria Baran
