Betsy Ann and her husband, William Doughty appear on the 1860 census. They died in 1861, 21 days apart from one another. J.B. Springs became the guardian of their children. They were from Tenn., and travelled to Crittenden County; Kentucky, where two fo their children died. They then moved to Southern Illinois we believe around 1853.
