Clockmakers
Posted by: Brian Spring Date: February 28, 2002 at 15:09:06

Does anyone have any information on a James Spring, clockmaker, who was apprenticed to J. Vidouze in Dublin in 1767?
I have a John Baptist Spring, clockmaker, (c.1818-1880) on my family tree and am wondering if there is any connection. He worked from about 1846-1878 in Ellen St. in Limerick City, Ireland. (His sons also worked as clockmakers in Limerick until 1916).
