Henry Spring of Weston, Mass.
Posted by: Jeff Johnson (ID *****1095) Date: August 03, 2002 at 01:13:41

Could someone please provide some type of reference for the lineage of Captain Henry Spring of Weston Mass. I, as well as many others, believe him to be the son of Thomas Spring and Elizabeth Traine of Weston but I do not have any documentation to refer to that verifies this.

What bothers me is that in Bond's work in the section about Thomas Spring and Elizabeth Traine, Henry dies at age 2 [b.Feb. 2, 1710; d. Feb. 11, 1712]. There is a reference [See 79] at the end of the information on Henry but I do not have access to finding out what this reference is about. Since I have Henry's death date as Feb. 11, 1762 it may be just a typo in Bond's work.

Is there any one out there who can help me out?
