Hello Dennis, All I can say is we are coming from the family of Spring-Springs of Wilson Co. Tenn. to S.Il. bunch. As you know my brother and I spent a couple of days in Wilson Co. last summer. We stayed in Lebanon and traveled south of there to Watertown in between there I believe is the well known Round Lick Creek that is mentioned in the few legal papers the Springs clan left in Wilson Co. Tenn. It would be nice if the Wilson Co. Tenn. Springs researchers could meet in Wilson Co. and do research and reunion together!!!! My husband is not a car traveler so I'll ask my brother to go with me this summer. I'm telling you there was something very special about that place that said home to me. I'm sorry to be rambling. But, maybe I do have another tidbit , not about your family but the Springs in general. My mother is where the Springs blood is coming from. She grew up S.Baptist I assumed the Springs family were Baptists, but I remember was it Abner Spring who gave land for a Methodist Church in Wilson Co., also it was my gt.grandmother Susan E. Smith Springs that brought the Baptist into this family. So. the tidbit is the Spring-Springs family to Tenn.-S.Il. are Methodist? I would like to hear from our Springs researcher. Also Dennis some of the papers that were copied on microfishe are unreadable.God Bless all of the Spring Cousins! Sincerely, Gloria
