Hello Springs researchers: Since my father passed away in Feb. my sister wanted my mom to visit us , so I left N.Il. last Sat. morning and Sun. morning turned back with mom to my sister's house. I was tired but I asked mom if she knew where Somers church was that I'd like to go there. I thought I had been there before and I saw Moses Springs grave that is my Gt.Grandfather Marshall Springs I believe half brother's . As I checked the headstones no Springs was found, I looked behind the church because I thought someone said that there are Spring graves back there but there was no graves of any kind. As we drove along my mom mentioned oh there's where we used to live, the house is gone. Yes, I've seen that area before then one half mile later she said oh that 's where the old home place is. As I glanced over I saw what appeared to be 5 to 6 tombstones. I asked my mom who they were she said she didn't know. As, I got out of the car my heart raced as I fought the briars and tall growth. My mind was racing, oh to find Benjamin's grave or Old Moses W. Springs- but no it was a Murphy and some other Murphy's dated from the mid-1800's. Oh weelll !!! I Will never give up the search!!!!!! Sincerely, Gloria
