Hello!
I was reading your post this morning and the words ROUND LICK CREEK jumped out to me, as my ancestors William Doughty and spouse Betsey Anne (Elizabeth Springs)were from that area of TN., as well. The Father of William Doughty was in Round Lick Springs and died 1845. William and Betsey I found recently in the 1850 census for Crittenden County, KY.

CENSUS RECORDS: 4 Sep 1850 Dist. #1, Crittenden County, Kentucky page #43, family #317/317

DOUGHTY, William age 45, male, farmer, $300, VA

DOUGHTY, Elizabeth A. age 41, female, TN

DOUGHTY, Jordan G. age 19, male, TN

DOUGHTY, Harriet age 18, female, TN

DOUGHTY, Emily J. age 10, female, IL

DOUGHTY, Starling A. age 9, male, TN

DOUGHTY, Martha E. age 6, female, TN
