Hi Karen,
Could this soldier be related to David A.?

"SAMUEL H. SPRING.
Served in Capt. F. Kebbens' Company. Pension Certificate No. 28943."

Source is book "State of Vermont ROSTER OF SOLDIERS in the WAR of 1812-14", prepared and published under the direction of Herbert T. Johnson, The Adjutant General, 1933, page 400.

Please let me know if you would like directions on how to order this military pension for $37.00 from the DAR.

Good luck researching ancestors,
Jan
