Are there one or two John/Abigail Springs?

Need some help sorting two father/daughter combinations of John and Abigail SPRINGS in my database.

The first is Lt. John SPRING, Jr., son of the immigrant (b. 1630 in England; m. Hannah BARSHAM 12/19/1656 in Watertown, MA; died 5/18/1717 in Newton, MA) and their daughter Abigail (b. 2/20/1666/67 in Watertown; m. William WARD 12/13/1689; d. 5/29/1742 in Newton).

The second is John (unknown wife) and daughter Abigail (b. 2/2/1666 in Newton, MA; m. (1) Thomas GREENWOOD bef. 1687; m. (2) Josiah FISHER 2/25/1696/97 in Dedham, MA; d. 9/6/1708 in Dedham). Who is this John SPRING? Was he the John who, according to Bond, came to live in Newton with his uncle Lt. John SPRING after his father William (Lt. John's brother) died in Barbadoes? Is he also the John SPRING who was one of the executors of Thomas GREENWOOD's estate? The date of birth for this Abigail looks suspiciously like a typo of the first Abigail's date of birth.

Are there two sets of John/Abigails or only one? If there are two, how are they interrelated? Would appreciate information and sources that would help resolve these questions.
