Hi there Mark
I am so grateful for your response, many thanks as well to your friend for following up with you. We are indeed the same family. Jack, my father, Kathleen, his mother. Met her once on the South Coast either at Hibberdene or near to that. Read the Diaspora and a little research showed baronets in England i.e. Sir Spring, maybe no connection. Fascinating! Jack Burtwell [could be Jack Burtnell] SPRING, from family tales, married maybe 4 times. He never had children with any of his wives with exception his marriage to Kathleen Maud EVERTON, my mother. My brother, Maurice Leslie SPRING and myself, Ronald Westley SPRING, his only children. Met my Grandmother, Kathleen, once in the company of my father near to the end of her life. I remember her blue eyes and she did not wear glasses. When she saw me she asked "Where is the other one?" [my brother]. I was one of the pallbearer at Kathleen's funeral. My father was a cad of note, he loved the girls. My mother and father were divorced when I was about 3 years of age. So pleased to have received follow up from you. Look forward to your reply.
Kind regards
