Hello, I would like to find out about the Springall line that the sister of my grandfather's grandmother's aunt Elizabeth Cory married into. Elizabeth Cory, b.23/01/1809 Reepham, bapt.19/02/1809 in Aylsham, youngest child of James Cory, baker, of Reepham and his wife Mary, nee Shingles. By the time of Elizabeth's marriage her father had just died. (Her mother predeceased her father.) She m 29/03/1838 in Reepham, Norfolk William Springall, a mason and bricklayer. William was the son of Thomas Springall, a mason. The marriage witnesses were Lydia Springall, Thomas Springall and Henry Bishop. In 1841 she was 30, he was 35 and a bricklayer, living in Reepham. In 1871 she was 66 living in Dereham Rd, Bawdswell “formerly a bricklayer’s wife” with her son William Springall, 27 born Bawdswell and head of house, a journeyman bricklayer married to wife Esther E., age 23 born Holt, Norfolk and a 1 year old daughter Laura, born Bawdswell) Would like to hear more if there is more out there.
