Any chance your surname used to be Springelmaier/Springlemeyer? I am researching that surname and am not having much luck. My Heinrich Springelmaier was from Holingen, Germany--the Westphalia area. My GG Grandmother, Mary, was his daughter. She was born in 1825 and came to America when she was a young woman.
