I wish we were related and perhaps we are, but my Frederick worked in the furniture business in NYC with his brothers and his brother-in-law John Henry Belter. Look up Belter. You will find lots. In fact he and the Springmeyers made the furniture in the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House. But then my Frederick was lost from the records. Some info said that he lived into the 1900s. His daughter inherited or bought his furniture (Mrs. Wm Dusing). I thought maybe my Frederick went west. But it does not look like. Fred*** brother John H. Springmeyer is my great great grandfather. Most of the Springmeyer family stayed in NY and NJ for a long time. A lot are buried there as well. John and Frederick and William's father and Belter's father-in-law lived into his 90s. I have his death certificate. Thanks for writing. you may write to me marjorie@redshift.com
