Dear David,
My Wife (Kim Sproat) and I have just recently located info on her grandfathers family. His name was Joseph Sullivan Sproat born in South Fork, Cambria County. His father was Ferd Riffle Sproat born in 1876 . Ferd's siblings were Maggie Sproat born 1878. Robert Lee Sproat born 1880. William B. Sproat born 1882. All of them were born in Houtzdale, Clearfield County, PA. Thier father was Joseph (D?) Sproat born in 1850 in Landisville, PA. He married Jennie Whiteside. It seems to me that Joseph may be a brother to your Henry Sprout born in Landisville, PA 1842 and I think I read in one of your postings that he move to Cambria County. Any info that you could pass along would be great. Thanks Doug
