I have a Samuel SPRUILL,sr. born in Tyrrell County,NC. His father's name was Godfrey and the mother was Joanna.
Samuel married an Elizabeth SWAINE before 1712, same county.
They had ten children:
Samuel,jr. Tyrrell Co.,NC
Godfrey before 1718 Tyrrell Co.,NC
Joseph Tyrrell Co.,NC
Joanna Tyrrell Co., NC
Jeremiah Tyrrell Co.,NC
Nemeiah Tyrrell Co., NC
Elizabeth Tyrrell Co.,NC
Jemina Tyrrell Co., NC
Zilpha Tyrrell Co.,NC
Mary Tyrrell Co., NC
Elizabeth SWAINE was also married to a Joseph SPRUILL.
I also have a George C. SPRUILL born about 1768 in Abbeville Dist., SC. He died in 21 April 1835 in Pickens Co., AL. He had 3 children:
Steven abt.1795 Abbeville Dist.SC
Jeptha 1808 Abbeville Dist.,SC
Rebecca 20 Nov.1812 Abbeville SC

I do not know how all these people fit into our PHELPS;UNDERWOOD; and RAY families. Have a clue? help
