Looking for descendants of a Hugh Sproule (may be spelled Sprole, Sproul, ect..) married a Hannah McKay, b. Killarow, Argyll, Scotland about 1825. They married in King Township, York County, Ontario, Canada before 1851 census. Am told they had the following children: Jack; Alfred; Albert; Laura; Hugh; Mary; Frank; Annie; Janet; Hannah; and Mae.
The children married according to this source. However, I have been unsuccessful in locating any of their births, marriages or deaths in the Ontario indexs. Which makes me start to wonder if Hugh moved out west or to the U.S. immediately after their marriage. Am willing to share what ever information I have. Thanks.
