I am looking for family history on the Spruill,Spruiell family from Mississippi, Alabama and Texas. My great grandparents were Romie and Jane Spruiell They worked the cotton fields in and around Lockhart, Texas, Also Brownsboro, Seawillow, Mahan. My grandmother Agnes Spruiell had 3 sisters Edith, Doshe,Purne. Other links to the family, Spriggs, Carter, Ellison, Ross, Tabor, Ketchum, Cyphers, Miller,Keys, Jones, Moore, Hopkins, Ware,Hall, Pinkney. That's just some of the links. The family came from the communities around Lockhart, Tx. Ebbon, Fleming, Dickerson. Homecomings were held in July thru August each year.
