The question that you ask is one that I've also had...
that is, wondering if Nancy Spruill was perhaps a cousin to myMahala Sprewell. Do you know much of your Nancy's lineage? Like, who her parents were ? One or 2 of the Weldon's in your line mar. into other members of my Shelby Co,AL families -- Holcombe, Carden & Adams, to be specific.
There is so much family 'tangle' there by 1850 that I've never been able to figure out if the Spruill & Sprewell lines I'm connected to were one and the same...just sp. somewhat differently.
I have a 'family interatcion chart' that I've created by hand in WORD. It's just for the Shelby Co,AL families, to help me sort out 'who is mar. to who'...if you know what I meanl.
