I am a document trader & collector & recently purchased an original muster roll/pay document for Co. D of the NC 3rd Light Artillery which was formed on 9/21/1861 at Craven County, NC.
One of the soldiers on the roll is Albert K. Spruill who was 18 years old when he enlisted and was mustered into Co. D on 1/24/1862 as a private. He was listed on furlough on 2/5/1865 at Pitt County, NC for 18 days.
I am interested in additional information about any of the soldiers from this company and am glad to provide descendants pictures of the muster roll and to offer as much information as I have about it. The list below is the full list of all of the soldiers on the muster roll. Please let me know if you know anything about any of these soldiers.
