Walter Absolum Spruill was married to Bessie Tucker. His brother, William Henry "Bill" Spruill, was married to Julie. Their children were: Nesbert, Arthur Lee, Stafford, Fannie May, R.B., Erma Lacy "Dude" (male) and Louie (female). Bill died after inhaling poison he was spraying on the fields for grasshoppers. Stafford and his mother raised the younger children.

I acquired this information from my Dad. He is a son of W.A. and Bessie. He believes Stafford's first name is William. Fannie May married a Watson. Dad doesn't remember if the family moved after Bill's death from their farm just east of Newlin in Hall County.
