I would really like any info on the Spruill family you could send me. AS I said Nesberts daughter Jo was my mother(she passed away February 2007) I remember hearing about Dude and Stafford and R.B.,but the only one I knew was Fanny. Nesbert and Lois moved from West Texas I believe before WW2. Nesbert worked at Texas Steel producing mortar shells. After the war he was a wood craftsman. My mom and I lived with them the first ten years of my life while my dad was in the army.
Nesbert was a wonderful grandfather and was actually more of a father to me.
I wish I could tell you more but veryone who would know more are gone now.
I know Fanny lived in Anadarko, Ok. and passed within the last ten years or so.
If you have any specific questions I can try to find an answer for you. I still have a lot of my Moms papers to go thru and there may be some info in there somewhere.
I am trying to get the family tree together for my son and have completed Lois' side so any info on the Spruills going way back would be great.
