Mayeve: Nehemiah Spruill is one of my great grandfathers but I know of no direct involvement by him in the Revolutionary War. As far as Spruill's bridge near Creswell being important during the Revolution, I would have to say that I seriously doubt that any action took place on or near said bridge. Douglas Davenport
