Do you have any idea where she was born or what happened to her? She could be a possibliity. We don't really know anything about the mother of James Taylor Spurgeon, just what was said before. We have been discouraged from researching our family by other members of the family who just don't want any dirt dug up, so... Plus there just aren't any records available. I haven't found a death certificate for him, he died before deaths were registered in AL. His wife lived until the 1940s, but apparently, she never talked about his family. Thanks for the input!
