Does anyone have any relatives who pretty much dropped off the face of the earth around 1880 in Ms? They had a son named William. He is 8 years old in the 1880's. He is living with a Cox family in Yalabusha County, MS
I am 'guessing' he was orphaned. There was Spurgeons in the same area, but I don't think they are related, or can't think of any reason why he would be living with the Cox if he is.
William probably will not show up in any records, since he was born between census.
