i am intewrested in Spurgeons who were in MO who had roots in TN. I found a Margaret Spurgeon living in the household of Thomas Spurgeon in the 1900 census. I believe that this Margaret Spurgeon may be the mother of my ancestor, James Taylor Spurgeon who moved into Alabama. Does this mean anything to you?

Thank you

Mona Herrin
