I appreciate the information, Tom. I'm impressed that you have that much information about the Spurgeon genealogy. I will relay this to other family members who are more involved in the "Family Tree" information. I remember staying with my Grandmother Mary Bresler (Spurgeon)when they lived in an old log cabin, in the Missouri Ozarks, on the Bresler homestead. I was only 8-years old, but I remember that they plowed with a mule; had a spinning wheel; made their own sorghum molasses; no running water, but an ice-cold spring; And a 2-holer outhouse. A real experience for a city boy from San Diego.
