Frances SHROFE, b. 1814 OH, md. David E. HOOVER 1834 Montgomery Co., OH; went to Miami Co., IN then Fulton Co, IN. Some records show her as SHOP, SCHULTZ. Believe she was connected to the SHROFEs of Henry Twp, Fulton Co., IN found in 1850 census but cannot find her parents.
In 1830 there was an Isaac SHOUP living close to the HOOVER family in Randolph Twp., Montgomery Co., OH. Was this man realy Isaac SROFE? And does anyone know of an Isaac among the early SROUFES of Ohio? Need help with this puzzle.
