No harm done, but you did give me a minor heart flare up! That 1755 thing put things into a cocked hat, geographically and genealogically.

I'll check around, but John Sroufe, b. 1771 in PA, 1st wife Sally Jackson, m. 1791, 2nd wife Nancy Ross, m. 1793, could be your guy, or one of John's older sons, like Adam.
