Hope you're still responding to questions. My husband's family came to Washington State and initially settled at Sidney. I'm just beginning to put family history together on the Sroufe side. We are related to George Washington Sroufe and Elizabeth Parker Sroufe. Have a dead-end though at George, can't seem to find any ancestors. We have a family letter from an uncle written in 1948 that wherein he states that this line of the Sroufe family came to New York State in 1652 vis-a-vis Dutch Land Grant. Any suggestions or knowledge about Sroufe's that you can share would be great! Am also will to share what we have out here in Washington State.

Liz Sroufe
