I don't think we have ever found out who the JOHN STABLER that shows in Monroe County 1850 census belongs to.
If anyone has his parents please post to the list so we can all know the answer to mystery.
I have tried to gather the Monroe Cty Stablers back into a nice pile but John's father is a total mystery.
I have his linage as follows...Corrections or additions would be greatly appreciatedJOHN1 STABLER was born 1790 in S. C., and died Aft. 1860 in Monroe County, Alabama.
Children of JOHN STABLER are:
i. AGNES2 STABLER, b. 1822, Monroe County, Alabama; m. (1) JOHN TURBERVILLE, July 28, 1896, Monroe County Alabama; b. Bet. 1801 - 1810, S. C.; m. (2) JOHN TURBERVILLE, July 28, 1896, Monroe County Alabama; b. 1871, Monroe County Alabama.
ii. ENOS STABLER, b. 1825, South Carolina; m. LUCY; b. 1835.
iii. LUCY A. STABLER, b. 1827.
iv. ELIZABETH STABLER, b. 1830.
v. JOHN STABLER, b. 1834.
vi. SARAH STABLER, b. 1836.
vii. JANE STABLER, b. 1838.
viii. CALVIN C. STABLER, b. 1846.
