Mary Jane, My Grandfather, George B.Stadden,b.22 Aug 1861; d.13 Nov.1923, Springfield, had a brother, Richard M.,probably born about 1859 +/- 5 yrs. So you see the timing may have been about correct. However the mid-initials are different. Also our Richard went from Springfield to Sanford, Orange Co., Florida, where he raised Oranges along with his brother, William H. Their grandfather was also named Richard, the son of John & Elizabeth (Greene) Stadden of Newark, Licking Co., Ohio. Unless you have a connection, I do not believe there is one.
I'll check aroun with my cousins to see if they might know of any connection. Sorry I can't be of more help to you. There aren't that many Staddens around--Our branch had no surviving males that we knew of. Dell Souther
