Lots of information on the Stadden/Staddon/Stadon Family. William Staddon married Susanna Smith in 1755, Swedes Church Philadelphia, PA. LDS# 1320851 item 9 is the "Genealogy of the Stadden Family" by Richard S. Stadden. Lots of info but needs to be sorted out. I'm descended from Samuel Stadon. Story goes... children of Thomas and Samuel Stadden in Northumberland County went to the same school and the children of Samuel were called "Stadon" by the teacher to keep the two families separate.
