Hello and greetings from me in London ,England.
What an amazing thing, your grandmother Phyllis and my grandad=grandfather Charles Richard Staddon were 1st cousins. As a brother of your great -grandfather James Rawlinson Staddon ,was my great -grandfather John Hamblin Staddon.Thier parents Richard Staddon born at Bovey Tracey in Devon
born Betsy Hamblin in the village of Goodworth - Clatford just outside of Andover in Hampshire were
our mutual great-great grandparents.Sadly now both my grandad and Dad are dead, but a sister of my Dad an Aunt of mine is still alive. And also alive still here in England are cousins of my father and Aunt, cousins through them being the daughters of sisters of my grandad Charles Richard Staddon. We had no knowledge of your side of our family this is truely wonderful news.I do hope we can be personally in contact very soon.I am now longing to get a reply from you to this.I am so very sorry that it has taken me so very long to send you this reply .This was due to the fact my very dear precious Mum was dying of Cancer, and over a month later died while I was holding her hand in the hospital, and since then I have had to arrange the Funeral ect ect. These past months have so been a really horrible time for me,your news has been a big candle in the dark, thankyou so very much indeed.Have you and dear Christine also a long lost relative of ours been in contact ,she has replied in March to that I posted on this about my Staddon family in Westminster London, now I can tell you they/we are also your family.Hello relative!!!its really wonderful a dream come true for me that we have now all found each other, indeed how lovelly. With every best wish to you and yours from your relative Barry Staddon ,in London England.
