Hi Robert, thank you for your reply and thoughts about John Stagner. Lunenburg CO VA tax listings 1748-1752 are turning a lot of former Quakers there. I am finding families there listed in MD like the Prathers and Mobberleys in Prince George CO MD 1742 . The Quaker desc. Hollingsworth family from Cecil CO MD and found with the Cope family 1696/97 Brandywine Hundred, New Castle CO DE tax list. The Verdemans from New Castle CO DE . The Hollingsworth and VanBibber family are listed on a deed in Cecil CO MD 1723/24. The names of Benjamin and Clement Mobberly are list on the Lunenburg CO VA tax listings with the VanBibbers and Benjamin and Clement Mobberly are with the Prathers on the 1742 Prince George CO MD petition for a new parish. Benjamin and Clement Mobberly are on the 1792 Madison CO KY tax list where I find the name of Barney Stagner. There are families listed in Lunenburg CO VA 1748-1752 that show up on the 1787 and 1790 Wilkes CO NC tax and census records. The Callaways of Lunenburg and VanBibbers are found 1767 Pittsylvania ( was Lun. CO ) CO VA tax listing. Some of these Callaways I found 1739 and Tillys' Orange CO VA tax and 1774 Surry CO NC tax list of Rev.War CoL. Benjamin Cleveland with Boons' and the Copes' there. These Callaways are found next 1787-1790 Wilkes CO NC.
David
