Therre seems to be a connection between teh Stagners(maybe Daniel Stagner listed in 1820 in Jasper co Ga) and the Rays and the Yarbroughs. It looks like they all went to Tallapoosa co Al in the 1840's and 1850's. My ancestor was Solomon Ray boprn 1811 in Jasper co Ga and grew up in Henry co Ga where he married Jane Church in 1829 and they went to Tallapoosa co Al about 1833. I am trying to find out what kind of indian the Rays were. Have you seen any reference to the rays from that part of Ga in your research. Thanks, Ross
