My Great Great Grandomther was Catherine Stainbrook, but she was not the one mentioned earlier in the forum. I have seen the Stainbrook family history book and wrote to Margaret Stainbrook back in 1989 about my missing Catherine. I have a cencus record of her living in Limestone Township, Warren County Pennsylvania in 1850, she was 18. She lived with John L., age 27, his wife Susannah age 26 (formerly Kitelinger), their children, George,4, Malvina age 2, Washington 3 months, and George Kitelinger 22 ( I always presumed he was Susannah's brother but never looked into it.) The book list this John, his wife and these children (as well as the ones born later). It said that he was the son of Henry P & Polly Livermore Stainbrook. I have record of where this Catherine married James McKean in Limestone twp, I know where she is buried and we have a huge portrait of her. Margaret told me, or I read it in her book that Polly died and there was some info that her sister Emily moved in but was married to John Cutshall who divorced her. But I know nothing for sure if Henry was Catherine's father. I am sorry to babble on but it is very confusing. If anyone can be of any help please let me know. Thanks.
